Meaning of 'vibhuti'
vi-bhuti. [Skt.] n. Blessedness, divine excellence or power. Happiness, sampada, aisvaryamu. A divine attribute. animadulu. astavibhutulu the eight divine attributes. These are anima invisibility, laghima buoyancy, prapti omnipresence, prakamyamu amplitude, mahima gravity, or vastness, isata supremacy, dominion, vasitvamu omnipotence, and kamavasayita miraculous creation, &c, at pleasure. White ashes of cowdung, with which the worshippers of Siva smear themselves, tellanibudida. Hence sommu vibhutipalayinadi the money is all gone to ruin: lit, to ashes. vibhutipandlu vibhuti-pandlu. n. Balls of white ashes, tellanibudidundalu.
